Hunt Mysteries is a new kind of dinner theater performance located in Sandy, which includes top-notch song and dance numbers, fun comedy and emphasis on getting the audience involved with several opportunities for guests to shine in small but fun roles.
Located at Spaghetti Mama’s across the street from the South Towne Center in Sandy, Hunt Mysteries is a Saturday night hit every weekend.
“We have been to a few other mystery type dinners but none compare to Hunt’s,” said Teresa Slade, who just recently saw the performance with her husband.
Hunt Mysteries specializes in dinner groups as small as 20 and all the way up to several hundred.
“This is a place that you can bring your family and act like Sherlock Holmes,” said Brittany Rice.
The audience has a chance to be apart of the show, question the actors one on one and help solve the funny murder mystery.
Hunt Mysteries has been doing mystery dinner theater entertainment for more than a dozen years in Salt Lake City, and scattered throughout the Western United States.
The food is also something to die for. It’s hosted at Spaghetti Mama’s where you have a choice of different types of Italian cuisine to pick from.
“We had such a great evening at this mystery dinner. I didn’t know what to expect and really wanted a good break from studying this weekend. We sure had a great time figuring the whole story out,” said Mike Purcell, who is a local university student in the Orem area.
